Drone inspection in the energy sector

Power lines and pylons have to be inspected regularly so that damage, wear or contamination is detected and remedied in good time.

Drones inspect them from the air without any shutdown, using high-resolution photographs, 3D models and thermal images that make potential problems visible.

LiDAR-based inspection

Using LiDAR technology, we capture power lines and their surroundings precisely in 3D. The resulting point clouds allow exact analysis of vegetation clearances, conductor sag and safety distances to ground, buildings and infrastructure.
