Up front, because it is the most common question: This website embeds no external services. There is no tracking, no analytics, no social media buttons, no embedded videos and no externally hosted fonts. Visiting the site transmits no data to third parties.

Server log files

When you access this website, the hosting provider automatically collects information that your browser transmits:

  • browser type and version
  • operating system in use
  • page requested and referrer URL
  • time of the server request
  • IP address

Purpose and legal basis: This data is technically required to deliver the website and to ensure its stability and security. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the secure operation of the website. This data is not combined with other sources.

Retention: Log files are deleted automatically once the period configured at the hosting provider has elapsed.

Contact form and enquiries

If you send us an enquiry through the form on the contact page, we process the details you enter: name, email address, phone number, the subject you select and your message. Name and phone number are optional; without an email address and a message we cannot process the enquiry.

We additionally store your truncated IP address. The final segment is discarded, so no individual connection can be identified. This serves solely to prevent automated submissions.

Purpose and legal basis: Processing serves to handle your enquiry. Where your enquiry is aimed at a contract, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measure); in all other cases Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, as we have a legitimate interest in responding.

Retention: Enquiries are stored on the server in addition to being sent by email, so that nothing is lost, and are deleted automatically 90 days after receipt. Where an enquiry leads to an order, the resulting records are subject to statutory retention periods. You may request earlier deletion at any time.

No automated decision-making or profiling takes place. We do not pass your data on to third parties.

Cookies

This website sets a single cookie:

  • pll_language stores the language you selected so that you need not choose again on your next visit. Lifetime: one year.

This cookie is technically required to provide a service you have expressly requested. Under Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG (the German implementation of the ePrivacy rules) it therefore requires no consent, which is also why this website shows no cookie banner. The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

No cookies are set for analytics, marketing or tracking purposes. You may delete cookies in your browser at any time or prevent them from being stored; the website remains usable but will not remember your language choice.

Hosting

This website is hosted on servers of IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. The provider processes the resulting data solely on our instructions, on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. No transfer to third countries takes place.

Encrypted transmission

This website uses TLS encryption throughout. You can recognise this by the address bar of your browser starting with https:// and by the padlock symbol. While encryption is active, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Your rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access (Art. 15 GDPR): whether and which data we process about you
  • Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR): correction of inaccurate data
  • Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), unless a retention obligation applies
  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR): release in a common, machine-readable format
  • Objection (Art. 21 GDPR) to processing based on a legitimate interest

An informal message to info@copterart.tech is sufficient to exercise these rights.

Right to lodge a complaint

Irrespective of the above, you may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority if you consider that the processing of your data infringes the GDPR (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority of your country of residence is usually competent. For North Rhine-Westphalia this is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information North Rhine-Westphalia, Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany.

Objection to promotional emails

We hereby object to the use of contact details published in the legal notice for sending unsolicited advertising. We expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited promotional material.

Changes to this statement

We update this privacy statement whenever the processing changes, for instance because a new service is introduced. The version available on this page applies.

Last updated: September 2026. This is a translation of the German original; in case of doubt, the German version prevails.
